Intumescent Sealants, Intumescent Mastics, Expanding Foams
Intumescent Sealants are ideal when small areas which are generally inaccessible is required to be sealed, for example pointing around doors and windows. It is also used to seal smaller pipe penetrations, for when fire wraps are inappropriate.
Our ranges of intumescent sealants are fire rated up to 4 hours and offer a fantastic adhesion to many common building substrates. With their resistance to ozone, UV and Temperature Extremes, it is extremely quick drying and is generally tack free within two hours of application.
Intuemescent Sealants and Mastics is extremely easy to install, simply squeeze the handle and point the nozzle in the area which requires protection. No preparation or priming is necessary for the application of these intumescent sealants.
Our ranges of Fire Rated Expanding Foam can achieve a fire resistance period of up to 2 hours. It is ideal for sealing gaps around doors and window frames, it is also used to seal around media services such as metallic cable trays and general service penetrations.
Once the foam has set it is possible to cut and shape the foam to offer a nice clean finish, and to ensure it has expanded into all the necessary gaps. Fire rated expanding foam can be used on a number of different surfaces including brick and around plastic.
